Committed to Community. Built on Connection.
Cornhole Tournament For Charity
Raine Building plans and hosts an annual cornhole tournament to raise funds for deserving charities within our community. We are committed to growing this event each year and have invested in multiple cornhole boards to support its continued success.
In 2024, event proceeds benefited Savvy Giving by Design, helping fund a custom room transformation for a child facing significant health challenges. In 2025, proceeds were donated to Savvy Giving by Design and our local Careers in Construction program.
Food for Thought Denver
In 2025, we began volunteering with Food for Thought Denver, an organization that packs PowerSacks for students in 75 schools across the Denver area. Our efforts have focused on organizing food during early Friday morning events, helping create an efficient packing line for assembling PowerSacks and sorting them into tubs for delivery to schools throughout the region.
Gries Family Charity
Since 2020, we have been a dedicated sponsor of children during the holiday season through Gries Family Charity, a nonprofit that provides Christmas gifts to families in need in the Colorado Springs area. Each year, our employees come together to sponsor 5 to 10 children.
Sponsorship includes purchasing gifts from each child’s wishlist, followed by a team gift-wrapping event. Once the presents are wrapped and organized, some of our employees also volunteer at the Gries Family Charity giveaway event—serving breakfast, handing out coloring pages, and helping check in families.
Faith’s Room in Fall 2020
Raine Building partnered with Savvy Giving by Design and Be Happy Interiors. We’d like to share with you a story about very special person. Meet Faith—she is a Colorado Springs kid who is battling cancer. We undertook a project to redesign and remodel her room to bring a smile to her face.
Creating Healing Spaces: Lizzie’s Room
She is a daughter, a sister, a friend. And she also has several critical illnesses. Her illnesses require her to have constant care, including overnight nursing and the assistance of a service dog. She has had seven surgeries and 40 hospital admissions in her lifetime, and she requires 25 medications a day to keep her stable. Her room is small and houses much of the medical equipment and supplies essential to her health. This arrangement limits the space she has available for playing and moving around.
